What is your favorite color? Blue

What one word best describes you? Determined
As a kid, what did you dream of being as an adult? As a kid, I always wanted to be a rock star like Steve Perry from Journey. I don’t have a good voice and I can’t dance so I guess that wouldn’t have worked very well!
How do you enjoy spending your free time? I’ve recently developed a passion for photography. My favorite subjects to take photos of are horses and nature. I also enjoy regular exercise because it gives me the energy I need to strive for success every day.
Who or what inspires you to be the best person you can be? My brother inspires me because he chose to enlist in the military after high school. He encountered many situations in his military career that were dangerous but his dedication to his country is inspiring. I have always admired his dedication and commitment to serve our country.
How long have you worked within the health & fitness industry and what motivates you? I’ve worked in the Fitness Industry since 1991. In the last fifteen years, I have been a Personal Trainer, an Area Director for a Health Club Consulting Company, and a Manager of various fitness facilities throughout the country. I have had many experiences in my health and fitness career; but I can honestly say that my experiences with Fitworks have been the most rewarding because this is a company that truly cares about both its members and its employees.
What one member success story stands out in your mind? I have seen many lives changed by the product that I so strongly endorse. One story that had a major impact on me comes to mind. A few years ago I had the opportunity of helping an older gentleman incorporate a fitness program into his life. He had a plethora of health problems due to the poor diet and inactive lifestyle he maintained throughout the majority of his life. He was a tough customer because he came in only on the advice of his doctors who warned that he would end up confined to a wheelchair if he didn’t make a major lifestyle change.. He clearly didn’t want to be here, but after much prodding I convinced him to work out w/me a few times. After just a few workouts he started to feel stronger and was hooked. After just 6 months he was able to walk without a cane and had drastically reduced the number of medications he was taking. He’s been a member ever since.
