As a kid, what did you dream of being as an adult?
As a kid, I dreamed of being a professional athlete. I had many role models growing up and they all played sports. I believe that the majority of professional athletes are good role models for children.
How do you enjoy spending your free time?
I love being active so anything that involves physical movement and makes me laugh is great! I really enjoy working out at the club because it gives me a chance to interact with the members and share a good joke with them.
Who or what inspires you to be the best person you can be?
My family inspires me to be the best I can be because I want them to be proud of me. The best way I can make this world a better place is to help others become physically active. Not only are the physical health benefits numerous. But the mental health benefits are undeniable. And happiness is definitely contagious!
How long have you worked within the health & fitness industry and what motivates you?
I have worked in the fitness industry for 8 years and I’m most inspired by helping others achieve the lifestyle changes they’ve dreamed of.

What one member success story stands out in your mind?
A member named Maryjane stands out in my mind. She joined on the advice of her doctor because she was at an unhealthy 183 pounds and had high blood pressure. We were able to keep focused and motivated and in 6 months she lost 30 pounds. She send my team and me a thank you note and to this day I have it hanging in my office. It’s Maryjane and all the members like her that make mine such an enjoyable job.
What makes Fitworks the #1 choice for your members?
The members truly feel like Fitworks is their second home. We try hard to make everyone feel welcome yet I never cease to be amazed at how kind and helpful the members are to one another. I remember when one member lost a family member due to cancer. A large group of our staff and members organized a “remembrance” dance party and donated all the funds raised to the American Cancer Society. I feel so fortunate to be a part of an organization that fosters such goodwill.
